Roslindale Community School Council, Inc. - Board of Directors

The Roslindale Community Center and Flaherty Swimming Pool are partnered with a community based, tax-exempt, 501c3, non-profit known as the Roslindale Community School Council, Inc., whose function is to provide board governance, and exercise fiduciary responsibility for funds channeled through the non-profit arm.

The Council holds the state license for the Roslindale Community Center's after school programs on the premises, and privately employs staff for that purpose, and occasionally in other capacities as needed. 

The Council partners on site for many other programs as well.  

They also facilitate funds management for the Flaherty Dolphins Swim Team.

The Roslindale Community Center Council, Inc. meets periodically to conduct business before the corporation.  For specific dates and times, please e-mail or call the Council (see above) for additional information.  Meetings are open to the public to observe.  The Council is presently seeking additional members.  Full voting membership requires 1) residency in Roslindale or a locally addressed BCYF membership, or  2) full-time employment in the Roslindale community, or 3)  enrollment as a Roslindale Community Center or Flaherty Pool member.  Persons interested in full voting membership may contact the Council for a membership application to be sent and/or additional commitment requirements.

Mission Statement:

The Roslindale Community School Council is a community based, non-profit, tax-exempt corporation that strives to enhance the quality of life for residents of Roslindale and surrounding communities by providing low-cost, quality recreational, cultural, and educational activities for all ages.    Programs include: Recreation/Athletics, Aquatics at the Flaherty Pool, Computer Learning Center, Senior Programming, Tiny Tots Preschool, After School, Kindergarten After School, After School Tutoring and Enrichment, Summer Day Programs, and Youth Outreach Programming.
