About The Roslindale Community School Council, Inc.

The Roslindale Community School Council, Inc. is a community-based non-profit corporation that partners with the Boston Centers for Youth and Families (City of Boston) and other community-based organizations to establish programming and activities in the community.

At the Roslindale Community Center, the Council operates a state-licensed Early Education and Care (EEC) pre-kindergarten called "Tiny Tots" during the school year (Sept-June).  It also operates an EEC licensed after school childcare program (Sept-June) for grades K1 through Middle School (ages 4 yrs to 12 yrs).  Rates are affordable and are offered on a first-come basis.  EEC vouchers are accepted.

In summer, a full day program is offered from July through August that includes indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, swimming at the nearby Flaherty Swimming Pool, and much more.  Rates are affordable and are offered on a first-come basis.  EEC vouchers are also accepted for the summer programs.

The Roslindale Community Center is operated by the Boston Centers for Youth and Families (BCYF), a department of the City of Boston.  It is centrally located at the intersection of Cummins Highway and Washington Street in Roslindale Square Village.

The Flaherty Swimming Pool is also operated and managed by BCYF.  Both are located in the southwest section of the City of Boston.

Various activities for children and adults are available across the age spectrum year-round at both facilities.

A 14-station computer lab is available at the Roslindale Community Center with access time for the childcare and teen programs, and public access for BCYF members at published times.

The center also has community access meeting space available for civic groups, crime watch groups, and various other community organizations and businesses.  Please inquire at the center for details and usage agreements.

The Council and center are always interested in partnering with program providers.  If you think you have something to offer, please contact us with your ideas.

All programming partners and volunteers must pass a Massachusetts CORI & SORI criminal background check.

Thank You - The Roslindale Community School Council, Inc.
